Default Flares and mud flaps

I recently bought a used 2008 Rhino 700 with non-stock tires that extend out over the fender. It will be used in the woods of East Texas. The wheel spacer recall is being done this week, at my wife's insistence. The Rhino throws mud on driver and passenger even without the spacer recall so I know that the mudslinging will be worse.

I've done lots of looking at various websites and forums. Maier makes a couple of different sizes of flares. The larger ones are more flexible on the very end which makes them more susceptible to being torn by vines, etc so I'm leaning toward the 2" variety. I'm afraid that the flares may not be enough. Hunterworks has a mud flaps on their website and I am considering installing them also.

Any suggestions/comments on these Maier flares and the Hunterworks mud flaps would be greatly appreciated.
