Kipor has been making generators for nearly 30 years in some form or another. Hunterworks became a certified repair center for Kipor a while back mostly for a local Kipor dealer. So far we have only repaired one generator and it was the 6000 watt unit which has a known problem.

What does this mean to you? Means that in a rare case you have a problem we can fix it in house.

We remove all generators from packaging, pre-run them to make sure they are good to go, run them out of fuel for shipping purposes and package them back up. This will stop any dead on arrival issues.

The IG 1000 and IG2000 (P) have basically been bullet proof. Their competiton is the Honda line of inverter generators but at a much lower cost.

Why the 2000P and not a 1000 or 3000 watt?

Comparing price it does not make much sense to purchase a 1000 watt generator as it won't power much of anything so for just a few bucks more you can get one that you can actually use. 2000 over 3000? Mostly weight and cost.

We only sell the 2000P which is the parallel capable generator. Meaning you can purchase a parallel kit and put two of the 2000 watt generators together to make a 4000 watt max generator able to run most RV's. The price of two 2000P generators with a parallel kit is slight higher than one 3000 but then you have two lighter generators to use at two different locations then when you need the big power, just parallel them.

What is a Inverter and Digital generator?

The simple answer is, the generators you buy are typically a general use and make dirty power. They are fine for lights and such but can damage electronic appliances, TV's, computers etc. Anything that is solid state is typically very sensitive to the kind of power it receives. Inverter power has been cleaned up and makes a perfect Sine wave which can only be read on a ocilloscope.

The digital side is basically electronic governor for the engine, it senses the load you put on it and optimizes engine RPM to match the load.

These generators are very quiet too, 59dbs at 23ft away. What does that mean? Means you can carry on a converstion while standing right over it.

The optional light kit is really handy for all kinds of purposes, to me it is a must have and it really lights things up.

California residents will have to purchase the CARB approved model for a few extra bucks.

We use our 2000P at ball games to run a large fan for Hunter's baseball team to keep cool by. In colder months we use it for a personal electric heater.

Works great on our race trailer for instant power for any power tools we may need to use.

Due to the price, weight and reliablity of these generators they are a must have for any outdoor person.
